4-H is the oldest and largest publicly funded youth development organization in the US. Each 4-H club is encouraged to be creative and flexible to best meet the needs of the youth and families involved.

The University of Minnesota’s SNAP-Ed helps low-income individuals and families make diet and lifestyle choices to improve their health and prevent obesity.  We deliver our classes and curricula in a variety of community settings, such as food shelves, schools, community centers, and public housing sites.

Our policy, system and environmental (PSE) change work is to:  Help communities create and sustain environments that support people in their efforts to eat healthier foods and become more physically active and we provide training to community partners on changing practices and systems to create a healthier environment.
