The Beltrami County Highway Department is responsible for the survey, design, construction, inspection, maintenance and repair of the Beltrami County road and bridge system which consists of:

127 bridges (including bridges owned by townships)
The Transportation Improvement Plan for County roads and bridges can be viewed in the Budget Book. This department is also responsible for the county’s signage, which includes all highway regulatory safety and informational signing along with all the E911 Addressing signing throughout the county.
