Adult foster care homes serve adults age 18 and over. These adults need varied levels of supervision, assistance, protection or personal care and room and board. Living in adult foster care enables individuals to obtain or maintain an optimum degree of independence and dignity in a supervised setting. 

Beltrami County Health and Human Services licenses, monitors and supports adult foster care families. 

Adult Foster Care homes are licensed according to Minnesota laws: Chapter 9555.5050 and the Human Services Licensing Act.
