Adult & Family Programs

Adult & Family Programs offer education and social activities designed to help emotionally and practically after a loved one is diagnosed with cancer. The program is comprised of Making Memories events, Educational Programming, and Family Camp Angel.

Making Memories

Family-friendly activities provided free of cost that offer support and guidance in navigating a cancer diagnosis. Events in the Twin Cities, Duluth, and Rochester create opportunities to learn coping strategies, build community, and experience moments of joy.

VIEW EVENTS

Educational Programs

In-person and virtual sessions for patients and caregivers on topics like nutrition, yoga, meditation, mental health, and more are offered throughout the year.

Family Camp Angel

Supportive experiences for kids or the entire family with thoughtfully designed therapeutic activities, peer support, and traditional camp experiences. Offered twice a year.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to participate in Adult & Family Programs, you must:

  • Be a cancer survivor, current cancer patient, or a family member of someone going through cancer.

  • Live or be treated in our service area (Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Olmsted, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, St. Louis, Washington, or Wright Counties in Minnesota, and Douglas and St. Croix Counties in Wisconsin.) We request that families attend Adult & Family Programs in the metro area where they reside (Twin Cities, Duluth, or Rochester.)

Only One Application Is Needed To Participate In Any Adult & Family Program And Can Be Completed Online In Any Language.
