This Division is responsible for providing the following services to eligible veterans and their dependents in Cass County:

- Assisting in claims processing for veterans' benefits to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Veterans and their dependents may be entitled to the following benefits and services through federal and state programs:
Federal Benefits (Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs)-
- Disability compensation (service-connected disabilities)
- Non service-connected (NSC) disability pension
- Medical care and prescriptions from VA hospitals
- Vocational rehabilitation
- VA Home Loan Guaranty Program
- Education benefits
- Burial and death benefits
- Agent Orange benefits
