Mental Health Crisis
A mental health crisis is a behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric situation that would likely result in significantly reduced levels of functioning.
This includes difficulty with:
• Anxiety and depression
• Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
• Hallucinations or delusions
• Physical or verbal aggression
• Caring for or keeping oneself safe
• Coping with a stressful or traumatic event
• Self injurious behavior

How It Works
The 24 Hour Crisis Line is answered by crisis trained staff at the call center. They collect basic information and triage the call. The Crisis Response Team (CRT) then contacts the caller to set up immediate community based intervention or offer support and resources over the phone.
