Mental Health Services

We offer a wide range of mental health services for women, children and families.

Services include group, family, individual and couples’ therapy, relapse prevention, diagnostic assessments, life transition resources and more.

More than 85% of the women Wayside serves have experienced significant trauma in their lives. For many women, alcohol or drug use begins as a coping mechanism for underlying emotional pain. At Wayside, with our mental health services, we believe in the importance of addressing mental health alongside chemical health to give women the best chance for long-term recovery.

At Wayside, you can expect a comprehensive mental health diagnostic assessment from our skilled clinicians—fully trained in both mental health and substance use disorder treatment. They will help guide you towards the right blend of therapy, psychiatry or medication management services for you and your family.

Children's Mental Health Services

When parents struggle with substance use disorder it can affect a child’s emotional health and development. With the right support, these challenges can be reversed. Wayside provides developmental screenings, diagnostic assessments, and therapy for children as well as referrals for early intervention services.
