Avivo helps people achieve recovery from addiction and mental illness, secure employment, and advance their careers. We specialize in serving individuals and families who are living in poverty, homelessness, lack education, or who live with disabilities, substance abuse, or mental illness.
We offer chemical and mental health services, career education, and employment services. Because we believe wellness is the foundation for success, individuals find their greatest success at Avivo with our integrated approach to care. We pair the following services to meet the unique needs and goals of each participant.
Chemical & Mental Health Services
Avivo provides chemical health assessments and co-occurring substance use disorder treatment and recovery.
Substance Use Disorder treatment and recovery programs:
- Intensive Outpatient Treatment for individuals (housing is available), 245G co-occurring substance use disorder treatment.
- Family Intensive Outpatient only for pregnant women and mothers with children.
- Avivo provides chemical health assessments (formerly Rule 25 in Minnesota).
Adult Mental Health Services
We serve adults living with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) or other mental health concerns move toward living successfully on their own and to be connected to community — transitioning from long-term homelessness to housing, unemployment, and recovering from co-occurring chemical and mental health concerns.
Employment Services
At Avivo, individuals find customized employment services to achieve their life and career goals. Our career counselors create plans that are unique to each individual – a holistic approach for unemployed and under-employed men and women who are struggling to find work or start their careers. Our employment services are free or no-cost to participants due to eligibility requirements. Contact us to discover career or employment services that are just right for you!
Avivo Institute of Career and Technical Education
Our licensed, accredited career school offers offers industry-specific career education and technical training programs in Minneapolis and St. Cloud. Graduates will earn industry credentials in new trades/careers, with course lengths range from three weeks to three or more months, depending on the program. Career training programs are free/no cost for individuals who meet eligibility requirements.
