Services: Centro Cultural Chicano is a community meeting place for Latino families and their children. Centro’s Mental Health Services provides individual, couples and family therapy. They make diagnosis assessments as part of the therapy treatment, but psychological testing is not their specialty (These are conducted by licensed psychotherapists). The program’s psychotherapist employs a three-step process in which children are assessed, diagnosed, and treated for any social and/or emotional needs they may have.
Payment: The mental health program charges $20 for the first session and $10 for the following ones. Some people qualify for coverage with Hennepin County assistance. They work private and public health insurance as well.
