Respite Education & Support Tools (REST) is a unique, interactive training program, where you will receive the education and tools needed to be confident and successful in providing respite care to adults and children.
Dementia Friends is a brief 60-minute informational session where you will learn the five key messages to know about dementia, an insight to what it is like to live with dementia, and small ways you can take action to make a difference.
Dementia Champions is a train-the-trainer session that will equip you with the knowledge and activities so you can facilitate Dementia Friends sessions in your community.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a workshop that provides a wealth of tools to cope with the challenges you may face in the role of a caregiver. Facilitated by two trained leaders who will help you develop a plan and set goals. Find the support you need to confidently continue the important work of caring for your loved one.
Memory Matters – Navigating MCI and Dementia is a 10-week workshop in affiliation with the Alzheimer’s Association designed for individuals with early-stage mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or dementia and their care partners that help families move forward with their lives after a diagnosis. Memory Matters is designed to meet the needs of both the person diagnosed and a family member or friend.
