The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) is the state’s lead agency responsible for promoting economic growth and workforce development. It offers a wide range of services to job seekers, including job search assistance, training programs, and career counseling, as well as specialized support for dislocated workers and individuals with disabilities. DEED also helps businesses expand and succeed by providing access to financing, workforce recruitment tools, and location assistance. Additionally, the agency collects and shares labor market data to inform public policy and guide economic planning across the state.
