Mail-Based Harm Reduction Supplies
For People Who Use Drugs
Our goal is to provide a national network of mail-based syringe access providers to support people who use drugs that cannot or will not access in-person resources.
Please check out pre-existing harm reduction services in your area before filling out the application with NEXT. In-person syringe exchange programs are excellent places to receive non-judgmental support and services. We believe that in-person harm reduction support is always best. If you don't have transportation but live near an existing syringe exchange program, let us know and we will work to connect you with the program closest to you- many have delivery-based syringe access opportunities to ensure your convenience and privacy.
Get Naloxone
IF YOU USE DRUGS OR ARE CONNECTED TO THOSE WHO DO, THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU!Our naloxone mailing program thrives through collaboration with over 30 harm reduction programs nationwide. While some programs secure funding for state-wide distribution, many operate with limited funds or rely on volunteers and donations. Our primary focus is individuals who use drugs or those closely connected to them. If accessing naloxone proves challenging through other means, we are here to provide crucial support. If you have health insurance, easy access to pharmacies, and/or are not directly linked to the drug-using community, we'd appreciate you using alternative options. For any errors or resources in your state we didn't name, feel free to reach out to us at info@nextdistro.org |

For the General Public
If you're interested in getting involved
You've come to the right place. We have big dreams for how NEXT will support people who use drugs. Our vision is to build a nationwide platform that supports immediate needs, connects people into the resources available in their own communities, and consolidates harm reduction resources into one platform to ensure solid education and best practices are a click away.
Fundraising
As you can imagine, fundraising is our most immediate need.
Cash on Hand: We need folks to reach out to their networks to support individual and private donations. Every cent raised goes to essential costs such as funding shipping supplies, program supplies, and postage.. We’re happy to talk through individual giving, restricted donations, or anything else related to funding that you might be wondering about. Please link your network to our Donation page or reach out to us at info@nextdistro.org for questions.
Long-Term Needs: We have been fortunate to have the support of wonderful foundations to support the start-up costs related to building NEXT’s syringe access program. However, folks across the country are requesting we provide support in their communities and within their state. We need larger donations, grant funds, and private foundation funds to support our expansion and enrich our ability to provide more services and more support, to a greater number of people.
One-time and recurring tax-deductible donation options – including Venmo, Paypal, CashApp, and Amazon wish list – are available on our Donation Page.
Volunteers
NEXT Distro is in need of passionate volunteers who are interested in making an impact with us. If you are a self-starter with a volunteer project idea, or are willing to take on building naloxone kits or other in-office needs we may have, please complete the short volunteer form on our Volunteer Page.
Advocates
Do you work within a health department? Are you a member of an opioid task force in your community? Are you involved in city council, governance, or community advisory boards? Please let your elected officials know that NEXT is a possibility in their area. We’re happy to send you all the information you need to communicate the importance of this model. Reach out to us with specifics through our contact form.
