At Brightwater Health, we believe in providing comprehensive, compassionate care to those on the path to recovery. Our outpatient recovery services utilize evidence-based intervention and recovery techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient. Our dedicated practitioners develop truly individualized and flexible treatment plans to accommodate the unique schedules and needs of each person seeking recovery from addiction.

Our Comprehensive Services

Brightwater Health offers a range of recovery services designed to support individuals in developing coping skills, knowledge, and support:

Daily Walk-In Comprehensive Assessments

  • We offer daily walk-in comprehensive assessments to ensure you receive timely support:
  • Monday-Friday @ 12 PM
  • First come, first serve

Therapeutic Recreation and Pro Social Activities

Join us every other Friday for our optional Therapeutic Recreation group. Meet for an hour at HDC before heading out into the community for fun, engaging activities. These opportunities allow everyone in the Recovery Services Program to try new things, enjoy themselves, and connect with others on their recovery journeys.

Previous activities include:

  • Going out to the movies
  • Hiking
  • Bowling
  • Rock Climbing
  • Bean Bag Toss
  • Making Tie dye shirts
  • Painting Classes

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

MAT medications are available for opioid, alcohol, amphetamine, and tobacco use disorders. MAT is an evidence-based practice proven to: 

  1. Reduce the need for inpatient detoxification services 
  2. Reduce overdose risks
  3. Decrease illicit opiate use and criminal activity among people with substance use disorders 
  4. Increase ability to gain and maintain employment 
  5. Improve birth outcomes for pregnant women with substance use disorders 
  6. Helps to sustain long term recovery
