Aitkin City Park
The Aitkin City Park is located along the banks of the Ripple River in the center of town. The 13.3 acre park hosts a variety of activities and facilities including little league fields, playground equipment, a hockey rink, skate park, walking paths, disc golf and a pavillion. The City Park is conveniently located in a walk-able residential district, and it is close to the Rippleside Elementary School.

Central City Park
Aitkin also has a small park in the downtown area. The park is called Central Park and is located across from the Aitkin City Hall. Amenities of the park include walking paths, benches and flower gardens. This park is used more as a public space where people gather, take walks and benefit from the green space.

Tibbetts Trail and Park
This area was acquired for use as an addition to the Aitkin City Park. The City is working on developing this location for the community. In the Spring of 2019 a parking and picnic area will be developed overlooking the Ripple River. Individuals will be able to hike throughout the property and enjoy the natural landscape.
