United We Dream is the largest immigrant network in the United States. It empowers people to develop their leadership and organizing skills to develop campaigns to fight for justice and dignity for immigrants and others.
Resources for the Black and African American Communities
Autism in Black aims to provide support to black parents who have a child on the spectrum, through educational and advocacy services. Autism in Black is dedicated to bringing awareness to Autism Spectrum Disorder and reducing the stigma associated with ASD in the black community.
The Color of Autism Foundation supports African American Families with children on the autism spectrum.
Somali Parents Autism Network works within the Somali community around the importance of developmental monitoring and is connected to families of young children with special needs. The organization conducts outreach program via schools, community centers. Somali Parents Autism Network works with residents in Twin Cities and Metro area, Child Care Centers, and Mosques.
African American Family Services provides chemical dependency, chemical health, violence treatment/domestic violence advocacy for adults and adolescents, and related human services to the African American communities in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro areas.
Youth and Family Circle supports the growth of youth and families of St. Paul inner-city young adults, giving them access to knowledge, experiences, and opportunities previously not available to them. Youth and Family Circle aspires to positively impact the community in areas of relationship by providing services to children and families, including summer camps, support groups, and seminars and educational events. Their focus is on immigrants who are newer to Minnesota and the United States, mainly East African migrants who may be low-income and below the poverty level. They have a physical location in Ramsey County (Roseville) and provide services in their facility and out in the community.

Minneapolis American Indian Center provides programs that are guided by strong Native values; this includes preserving and supporting cultural traditions through art, youth and inter-generational programs that promote healthy lifestyles.
Indian Health Services is the Federal Health Program for American Indians and Alaska Natives

Autistic Women and Nonbinary Network (AWN) provides the community support and resources for autistic women, girls, nonbinary people and all others of marginalized genders.
Every year, Twin Cities Pride works hard to ensure that the Loring Park festival grounds and Pride Parade route are accessible to people of all needs and abilities. There is an autism tent to escape the noise and crowds. Visit the Accessibility page for more information.
The Autism Services, Education, Resources, and Training Collaborative (ASERT) offers resources and information that were developed by a young autistic adult who is part of the LGBTQ+ community. This information is intended for self-advocates, parents and families.
The Asperger/ Autism Network (AANE) has resources on sexual orientation, disclosure, relationships, support groups and more.
Autism Society of MN (AuSM) has a variety of support groups, including a LGBTQIA support group for adults with ASD who identify LGBTQIA to gather and discuss topics related to the intersection of autism and gender/ sexuality.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has resources on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender health.
OutFront Minnesota’s mission is to create a state where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people are free to be who they are, love who they love, and live without fear of violence, harassment or discrimination. OutFront MN provides a crisis support line, legal referrals, and free and confidential crisis counseling and advocacy services. Youth Organizations
Irreducible Grace Foundation (IGF) is a non-profit focused on creating safe spaces with youth of color. IGF provides mentoring, life skills, employment, self-care practices, and safe space for teens and young adults. Through the use of visual and performing arts and movement techniques we help young people learn new skills for dealing with stress, trauma and fostering their voice.
