Management Information Systems

The MIS Department provides consulting, planning, purchasing, system implementation, programming and technical support services to all county departments, collaborative non-county agents, City Of Bemidji, Bemidji Bi-County Cap. This department also provides support to Satellite offices such as the City Garage, Highway Department and additional locations.

A staff of six people maintain all computer desktop systems, laptops, network servers, network infrastructure, telephone, voice mail systems, internet connections, web services, network security and Wireless connectivity.

The primary goal of the MIS Department is to work with the various entities to provide efficient public services through responsible and cost effective measures in the ever changing world of technology.
