Public Health and Achievement Awards
Do you know a group or individual whose efforts have improved the health of others in St. Louis County? If so, you can nominate them for a St. Louis County Public Health Achievement Award.
Through these awards, the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners and the Public Health and Human Services Department recognize and honor community organizations, businesses or residents who demonstrate a commitment to improving the health of individuals, families and communities in the County. The Public Health Achievement Awards will be presented during the St. Louis County Board meeting on Tuesday, April 11, 2020, which occurs the week following National Public Health Week.
Honorees will be chosen based on the following criteria
Leadership – Nominee has demonstrated leadership abilities through work and service.
Public Health Contributions – Nominee has demonstrated originality and innovation in creating solutions to public health problems and has contributed to advancing improvements in the health status of the community through work and service.
Community Health Improvement – The activities of the nominee have contributed to successful outcomes, bringing positive change and improving the health status of the community.
Collaboration – Nominee has promoted collaboration and cooperation among individuals, organizations, agencies and the people served by the St. Louis County Public Health Division.
Advocacy – Nominee has been involved in promoting health and healthy behaviors, and/or protecting the health and safety of County residents.
