Offering Reading & Spelling Intervention

Our warm and supportive teachers will help your child break through to reading and spelling success.

Private sessions:

Available both online & in person

$45/hour

Explicit Instruction: Struggling and emergent readers are often confused by language rules. We are careful to explicitly teach why we read or spell a word the way we do.

Systematic and Cumulative: We start at the very beginning (phonemic awareness) to build a solid foundation before we teach new skills. We continue to weave previously learned rules into current lessons.

Ample Practice: We practice our new skills until they require little effort.

Diagnostic Teaching: We continuously assess students’ understanding of, and ability to apply reading and spelling skills.  Instruction is tailored to respond to individual needs.
